The project is a pool side cabana designed for Alex Rodriguez from the New York Yankees. The cabana consists of a series of plinths which serve different functions, such as a sand pit, a large chess board, a billiard table, and a kitchenette for pool side entertainment. The programmatic elements are covered by a concrete structure and a wood trellis. A portion of the cabana may be enclosed with wooden shutters protecting some of the more fragile elements from the Miami weather. The roof-top terrace serves as a private sun-bathing room.
