ONAWAY - Nambies United competition | Coconut Grove | FL [Runner-Up]
The project seeks to rediscover the character of Coconut Grove by taking into account significant aesthetic and functional architectural issues which respond to the particular climate and site. Characteristics such as spatial enclosures suitable to the tropics shaded and screened from the environment; as well as the use of natural materials which have stood well the test of time, are combined to form layers of gradating spaces which move from the indoor to the outdoor spaces.
